Strata Up Close
On the backs of posters, layers gradually emerge. Tears, fibers, and traces of erasure form surfaces that invite the gaze to linger.
Mapped Fragments
The drawn line follows the paper’s relief, tracing its contours and fractures. Territories take shape without a model or scale.
Sedimented
Layers of paper accumulate, compress and spill over. Thickness, torn edges and breaks become the very substance of the work.
Core Samples of Time
The layers leave the plane and inhabit space. Front, back and thickness reveal themselves as the viewer changes position.
Transmutations
Colors found on the printed sides of posters break free from their original messages. They respond to one another in a new balance.
Emergences
On the backs of posters, drawings take shape patiently, through countless small ink strokes. Figuration emerges within the layers, between the precision of the gesture and erasure.
